Back to School!!! Back to The Scarlet Letter...
Monday- Today we reviewed chapters 1-16 and retook quizzes from these chapters to improve grades. Students who missed the quiz may make it up after school - no later than tomorrow.
Tuesday - Chapters 17-18 (class) (Begin reading Nathaniel Hawthorne's "The Birthmark" at home and work on discussion questions
Wednesday - Chapter 19 (class) Continue reading "The Birthmark" (home) ++++
Thursday - Friday - Class Discussion, Essay Test TBM and TSL - Read Chapter 20 over weekend. Quiz Monday!!!
We will finish the novel and have our final test next week.
Lessons to be posted as they are updated.
Students need to keep up with the readings and their notes... the last test will not be easy.... at all!

February Break Grade Recovery Opportunity!!!!
This is a one time opportunity for students to earn back lost credit on assigments that have a grade of 0 entered.
Each of the following links is an opportunity for students to recover his or her grade. These were key assignments, and students whose grades are at risk for failing at this point did not complete these assignments.
These assignments are due to my email NLT midnight - Saturday, February 20, 2016.

Week 5- The Scarlet Letter Continued - Assessment of Chapters 1-4, Reading Chapters 5-12
Today we had our first test for The Scarlet Letter. Based upon what I can see so far... students need to really reassess their study habits. Please read assigned chapters and review what was read in class NIGHTLY.
Monday- Tonight's reading... Chapter 5.
Tuesday - Chapter 6 - Class reading.
Chapter 7 - Homework.
Wednesday's Lesson - ****finish reading Chapter 8, and read Chapter 9
****also if you are not signed up for Remind..... then you did not know to sign up for Newsela (sent out previously). We have a quiz on the Newsela article due tomorrow.
